Build-out and Recruitment of Product Management Team for Kasha

Founded in Rwanda in 2016, Kasha has expanded its operations to Rwanda and Kenya. The company offers a confidential ordering and discreet delivery service, designed to be accessible without requiring internet access or smartphones. Customers can browse, order, pay, and receive genuine quality products without technological barriers. Kasha is dedicated to promoting women's empowerment in health and self-care, while providing direct access to quality products and information. The company's vision is to eventually serve millions of women globally in emerging markets, becoming the leading source for women’s health and personal care products.
Oium played a crucial role in building Kasha’s initial product management team, successfully recruiting three product managers. We developed a roadmap for the company's core product and assessed the needs of other products within the ecosystem. Additionally, we assembled a core team of developers in Ukraine, including a Head of Engineering. We established and implemented standard operating procedures (SOPs) covering the full product lifecycle and coordinated efforts across five different products within the Kasha ecosystem. Our services included sourcing vendors, managing project collaborations, introducing key performance metrics for the core product, and guiding development with a focus on growth hacking in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders. We also improved site performance and front-end functionality, developed story maps for various projects, and introduced SOPs for project management, alongside implementing tools to enhance communication and project management efficiency.
