Uklon is the major ride-hailing app in Ukraine and the biggest local competitor to UBER. Oium was contacted by Uklon to help them with their plans to expand their services to Kenya and to support them in their fundraising efforts. By tapping into Oium’s network in Kenya and know-how in the ride-hailing industry Uklon was able to plan their fundraising efforts and expansion strategy accordingly. The project handled a broad range of topics such as marketing strategy, driver acquisition strategy, legal set up, product modifications needed and team formation and structure.
