Build-out and Recruitment of Product Management Team for Kasha

Kasha is a a health tech and Ecommerce company for women's health and personal care products in Africa.

Starting out in 2016 in Rwanda, Kasha is now operating around the country in Rwanda and Kenya. Kasha provides a confidential order and discrete delivery experience and is built to be widely accessible, without requiring internet access or smartphone to browse through products, order, pay and get genuine quality products delivered. Kasha is a purpose-driven business focused on promoting women's empowerment for health and self-care while providing direct access to quality products and information. Kasha strives to one day serve millions of women around the world in emerging markets, serving as the go-to place for women's health and personal care products.

Oium helped Kasha to build the first product management team in the company and recruited three product managers. Developed a road map for the company's core product and mapped out the needs for the other products in the product ecosystem. Sourced a core team of developers based in Ukraine, including a Head of Engineering. Created SOP's to cover the full product lifecycle and implemented these. Coordinated work across 5 different products in the Kasha product ecosystem. Sourced vendors and project managed the cooperation with them. Introduced key performance metrics for the core product. Steered the development work of the company's core product with a focus on growth hacking in close collaboration with all the relevant stakeholders. Improved site performance, front end functionality and developed story maps for a number of projects. Introduced SOP's for project management, implemented a number of tools to improve communication and project management efficiency
